VEGAS, BABY! Showgirls, neon, glitz…construction?

Lords of Vegas is a dice and tile-based game where players let out their inner Steve Wynn to become the largest hotelier on the Strip.   THIS is the game that knocks Acquire out of the rotation1. Each turn, you draw a card to take ownership of a vacant lot and then your decision matrix explodes.  Do I build a new hotel?  Do I add on to an existing hotel?  Which of my vacant lots?  Do I try to take over that hotel? Edit: I just tried to explain the mechanics and I can’t in a short review. Let’s just say it has complexity – there are a lot of actions you can take to make money and take over hotels to get points, just like something out of Ocean’s Thirteen.  This is a great game – a modern classic that pays off the investment in learning the options.
